Color Matching

Many customer applications are color specific and have a color requirement. Rubbercraft specializes in custom color matching. The Company has a broad array of standard and unusual colors that it can match - from translucent blue, pink, or white, to whatever unusual color might be required. Our Rubbercraft colors are not a surface coating or painting; rather they are through the thickness of the material and are colorfast.

The Company has dedicated equipment and mixing molds to keep contamination of our color mixing capability segregated from our basic black rubber and elastomer capability.

Rubbercraft's experience and know-how of color matching as it relates to processing, exposure to heat and fading, eliminates unnecessary iterations, and significantly shortens lead times and component delivery.

Federal Standard 595

One of the reference materials that is often cited is color matching to federal standard 595. When a federal standard is specified, we can identify exactly what color is needed and match to that requirement.

Color Sample

It is not uncommon for a customer to bring in a piece of aluminum that is painted a dark blue and ask us to match a piece of rubber to that same color. From the customer's sample, we can formulate a compound to match that specific color.
