Insight and Validation

One of the significant strengths of Rubbercraft is our laboratory environment and testing facility that provides insight and validation of the component performance. Coupled with our in-house formulation, onsite chemistry, in-house mixing and compounding capabilities, the lab and test facility goes hand-in-hand with Rubbercraft's ability to rapidly develop tests and validate rubber compounds to meet specific and rigid requirements and accelerated delivery dates.

Rubbercraft's laboratory and test facility give us insight and a unique agility, control and the capability to quickly modify or customize a compound, add performance characteristics and attributes such as additional shrinkage and quickly evaluate the impact of those changes and validate and verify the physical and mechanical properties of the compound to show that it does meet customer requirements. We can also provide our customers with certification of compliance and the physical back-up data to demonstrate performance to that requirement. The lab and test facility is also an enabler for us to develop and formulate new compounds for new custom applications.

Our testing activities are driven by application specific requirements that often requires customization of the test. Rubbercraft has a breadth of testing equipment and capabilities such that we can customize and accommodate most required tests including:
• test fixturing and set-ups with correct timing devices
• automation and mechanization for cycle planning
• recording information to support lifecycle testing
• documentation of test set-ups and testing activity
