Chemical and Physical Validation to Specifications

Validation of performance to specifications is a critical customer requirement and an area of broad technical expertise. The depth and breath of expertise is derived from the tens of thousands of rubber and elastomer parts, components and solutions Rubbercraft has delivered during the past 100 years.

Rubbercraft's chemical testing includes:
•  identifying the percentage of rubber in the compound
•  specific gravity
•  electrical fulfillments
•  testing the type of metal to be used do to its controlled environment.

The Company's physical testing and validation of the elastomer attributes includes:
•  mechanical properties
•  tensile compression
•  diameter
•  elongation
•  compression set
•  fluid absorption
•  shape retention after exposure to a certain number of cycles or temperature range
•  other physical parameters to ensure performance to specification
