Rubbercraft’s story begins in 1911 in Torrance, California — long before the aerospace age. Through family ownership, acquisition, and reinvention, the company has remained a constant force in precision elastomeric manufacturing across every era of American industry.
Our legacy is our ability to continuously evolve: new materials, new markets, new manufacturing capabilities, while staying true to the precision and reliability that define us.

Origins as Hendrie Tire Company in Torrance, California.
1926
Acquired by Eno Rubber Corporation — mechanical rubber goods.
1931
Formally renamed Rubbercraft Corporation of California Ltd.
1950s–80s
Merral family ownership — pioneering aerospace & defense elastomers.
2019
Rubbercraft was acquired by Arcline Investment Management
